Laurel Valley
Laurel Valley: This 3 bedroom 3-1/2 bath custom home is 2400 +/- square foot with a walk-out basement in addition to a lower garage. Exterior is a perfect blend of Hardi siding, stack stone, and large timbers to create a "mountain craftsman" style home that will provide years of low maintenance living. Interior is well dressed with stain-grade trim with gorgeous solid pine doors, solid oak flooring, and tiled baths. Beautiful cabinetry and solid quartz counter tops in kitchen and baths. Home has a custom built-in bookcase beside the amazing wood-burning fireplace. The mantel is hand cut from a large oak harvested off the property during excavation. Large vaulted wood ceilings and exposed timbers accent the craftsmanship throughout. Perfectly placed on the lot, the back decks and over-sized screened porch overlook a creek on the property. With a well designed open floor plan and quality finishes, the overall feel and function of the home are second to none.
Laurel Valley
Laurel Valley: This is a tri-level home with 2400 +/- square feet. Home has western red cedar siding with a blend of stack and rubble stone and a one-of-a kind front door built by WB Richardson. Chester Richardson and his best friend helped lead the design of this home resulting in a truly custom feel in Richardson Construction's only speculative building project to date. "Solid" describes the home throughout: beautiful solid pine doors, random width solid oak flooring, and most importantly a solid poured concrete foundation. The atmosphere of the the home is created by a warm floor to ceiling wood burning fireplace, vaulted wood ceilings, open beams, attractive trim details, and warm paint colors. The kitchen boasts hand crafted custom cabinetry and island by WB Richardson, granite tops, and stainless steel appliances. Two levels of decks and a wonderful screened porch are perfect for enjoying East Tennessee's wonderful weather and the home's great seasonal views. A testament to Richardson Construction's mission for "building higher expectations" is that the home is now being enjoyed by a husband and wife who in their professional lives are the business development manager for a large Nashville construction firm and an architect, respectively.
Fence Rail Gap
Fence Rail Gap: Made from heart cut 6"x12" pine logs, this custom built home has the look and cozy feel of a cabin getaway, but at 5,500 +/- square feet and top quality finishes, this is your not your typical "log cabin". Walking in the custom front door, you are met with beautifully crafted mountain laurel panels. The breathtaking views can be seen from each of the home's three levels and its true 360 degrees of wraparound decks and porches. Home has two full-size kitchens with custom cabinetry and solid surface tops. You enter the main kitchen through a true dutch door from WB Richardson. Once in the kitchen, its feature item is a one of-a-kind custom island that is a functional piece of art. Both the greatroom and den include their own large, floor-to-ceiling, gas burning fireplace. Each of the five bedrooms has a masterful blend of custom woodwork, textured drywall, and custom paints and stains, making each room a vacation of its own. The master bath has a custom tiled shower. Each detail from the loft bar down to the closet systems is handcrafted from Richardson Construction's team. Each detail of the home's 5,500 square feet is well thought out and executed with careful craftsmanship.
