Meet the Team

Chester Richardson

President
As the President & General Contractor, my main objective is to ensure our vision for the company is implemented daily. I am personally involved in the everyday operations making sure each project meets customers’ expectations. I lead, guide, direct, and evaluate all managers and employees, and ensure they are carrying out the daily operations of the company. I meet regularly with business partners and officers to ensure important decisions and organization details support our Core Values. 

Since our start in 2004, we have seen tremendous growth, even in economic lows. This speaks volumes to the team we have here. We pride ourselves on our reputation for quality, attention to detail, and superior service.

The heart and soul of a company is its people and we can't say enough about the skill, professionalism, and integrity of every individual we worked with. You just know when you are dealing with good people, and Richardson Construction has good people.

Becky Richardson

Co-founder & Realtor
I was an integral part of the company’s early development. My unwavering belief and support for Chester along with my willingness to help in any capacity were paramount in getting Richardson Construction started. Now I serve in the office one day a week helping with payroll. The rest of my time is spent working as a licensed realtor and my favorite role as a wife and mother. As a real estate agent, I help many of our clients find the perfect piece of property. On the rare occasion that they sell one of our houses, I have enjoyed helping them sell their home along with other unique properties. Click here to see my listing. Josh Underdown

Vice President
As the Vice President I am responsible for overseeing multiple aspects of construction projects and business operations. I am involved in planning and managing projects from their early stages, developing budgets, and final completion. In addition to, representing the company in the community, developing strategies for growth, and planning for the future. I work directly with department managers and our clients to ensure our projects run smoothly from start to finish, as well as support our President and all the roles he performs daily.

 In my time at Richardson, I have quickly grown to respect Chester, and each person affiliated with the company. Everyone has the “team mentality” and strives every day to meet our company’s expectations. I’m happy to be part of this growing company and wonderful team of people.

Kerry Whitaker

Vice President of Construction
As the Vice President of Construction I am responsible for overseeing the remodels, new additions and commercial projects within our company. I manage all facets of construction; interact with clients and schedule, organize, and direct field employees and trade partners from start to finish. I work alongside our clients through every step of the renovation process to make sure their dreams become reality, no matter how big or small. I pride myself as being an advocate for all parties involved, to ensure the project stays on track, and is completed with high satisfaction. 

RC is built on principles and values that are at the top of everyone’s list, and ultimately align with the way the Lord wants us to be. I am excited to be a part of this organization, our future, and we look forward to helping with your construction projects.

Cindy Winters

Administration manager
As the Administration Manager I am responsible for our administrative team members and ensuring daily office operations are performed in a seamless and efficient manner. I oversee accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and manage secretarial support for all three of our RC Companies. I’m often one of the first people you’ll see/ speak with when inquiring with us. 

I feel very blessed to be a part of Richardson Construction Team, a successful and growing company whose foundation is truly built on integrity and excellence. A company who prides themselves on doing what’s right.

Jill Headrick

Administrative Assistant
As the Administrative Assistant I work directly with Cindy to help ensure a supportive and efficient office environment so others can succeed with their daily responsibilities. Some of my primary responsibilities are answering the phones, data entry for accounts payable, creating customer invoices and staying on the many requirements needed to help keep us and our trade partners in compliance with IRS and insurance. There is never a dull moment in helping keep everything at our active office moving.

Being a part of the Richardson Construction team has been such a blessing to me. I love working for this wonderful, family-oriented company who put people first by supporting each other, our customers and our community. I am especially proud of the work ethic, integrity and excellence we represent in all aspects of the building process.

Brad Teaster

Project Manager
As a Project Manager I plan and supervise new construction projects from clearing the property through the clients' move-in day. I organize and oversee construction procedures and ensure they are completed in a timely and efficient manner. I am well-versed in construction methods and procedures and able to coordinate professionals of different disciplines to achieve the best results. My goal is to ensure all projects are delivered on time according to requirements and exceed customer expectations. 

At RC I hope to continue learning about different aspects of custom home building and providing customers with a home building process that they enjoy. I hope to show a reputation that is parallel to our company values, and have fun doing so. I enjoy working for a company that provides a positive atmosphere with a trustworthy reputation for providing a customer with what they are promised.

Daniel Washburn

Project Manager
As a Project Manager I am fortunate to work with clients from the beginning of their project all the way through completion. I plan and supervise new construction projects from ground breaking to move-in. Serving others as a direct link between the client and jobsite affords
the opportunity to communicate progress, answer questions and help folks navigate the path of building a custom home. My goal is to exceed client expectations by establishing meaningful relationships, creating a realistic schedule and providing subcontractors with a history of high-quality work...while staying
within budgetary expectations.  

The privilege of working at Richardson Construction is meaningful because of the company values that guide the process. The Standard is to serve others with these concepts in mind: integrity, value, quality, service and community. The team at RC is talented and dynamic. Charlie Johnson

Project Manager
In my role as a Project Manager, I orchestrate and oversee the entire lifecycle of new construction projects. My responsibilities include coordinating construction procedures to ensure their timely and efficient completion. Proficient in various construction methods, I collaborate with professionals across different disciplines to achieve optimal outcomes. My overarching objective is to deliver projects punctually, meeting all requirements, and surpassing customer expectations.

Joining RC, I aspire to further expand my knowledge of custom home building while offering customers a delightful building experience. My aim is to uphold our company values and cultivate a reputation that aligns seamlessly with the culture here. I enjoy working in an environment characterized by positivity and trustworthiness, where promises made to customers are consistently fulfilled.

Bobby Underdown

sELECTIONS mANAGER
As the Selections Manager I am responsible for communicating about project expectations and goals as it relates to Selections. I meet with clients on and offsite, problem solve through design and product selection, communicate details during installation, and serve as major support to our Clients & Project Managers, throughout a project’s lifespan. In addition to these key responsibilities, I also serve as Cabinetry Design & Sales support for our sister company, Richmond Cabinetry, alongside April.  

I take pride in my role here at Richardson Construction and the overall success of our client’s projects. My ability to guide the client to confident decisions utilizing our many resources is paramount to each project. We are always looking to enhance our experience with each step of the construction process for our clients, vendors, and partners.

Taylor Jackson

Project Designer
As a project designer, my role is to enhance the client experience by creating custom blue prints and three-dimensional renderings for projects. This process begins by communicating with clients to understand their goals and visions. Taking those goals into consideration, I create plans and renderings that allow clients to visualize the end product prior to the start of construction. The ability to visualize a space in 3D prior to any physical construction helps to ensure satisfaction and efficiency. I am passionate about creating functional and unique spaces for our clients.

Jack Richardson

Working Superintendent
As a working superintendent I am responsible for ensuring all parties are equipped with the resources, supplies, and details needed to bring together a successful build project. I work with the project managers and crews to help all the pieces come together. My main objective is to coordinate equipment and material deliveries, and monitor overall progress in the field daily.

I have a long-standing history in the construction industry, and I am thankful to be a part of this family business working alongside my brother, Chester. His leadership and continued forward thinking business model are exactly why I love working here. It's more than just another construction company, it’s an ever-improving drive for excellence in our lives and the work we do.

Our staff carpenters and crew members have well over 100 years of experience and are a critical part of our talented team. Each day they put their skills and great attitudes to work  helping us craft the final products and experiences that have built our reputation as the best in the business.
